Palestinian teen killed near Jerusalem after alleged stabbing

A young Palestinian teen was shot and killed near the Ras Biddu checkpoint north of Jerusalem on Monday.

17-year-old Sawsan Ali Dawud Mansur was shot at after she allegedly attempted to stab an Israeli border policewoman. No substantial evidence has been provided and no injuries were reported among the Israeli soldiers.

Despite a lack of evidence of alleged stabbings Israeli police have implemented a shoot to kill policy as a matter of routine.

The United Nations investigation highlights the excessive use of force by Israeli occupational forces (IOF). The IOF have implemented a policy of extrajudicial execution and shooting at dead Palestinians who clearly present no threat or harm.
Violence continues to escalate in the Occupied Palestinian Territories as Israel places harsher punishment towards Palestinians. Since October 205 Palestinians have been killed.
