Benjamin Netanyahu is set to make his first visit to meet Prime Minister May at Downing Street this Monday. This is a stopover for Netanyahu on his way to meet Donald Trump.
Trump’s presidency so far has shown him to be a staunch supporter of Netanyahu and his expansionist policies. While May has not done enough to speak out about the discriminatory policies of both Trump and Netanyahu. These three leaders’ and their highly questionable policies have moved the UK public to action.
Moreover, Netanyahu continues to show contempt for the UN and its resolutions. Most recently he has approved the building of a new settlement for the first time in 20 years, despite the strong UN ruling in December.
“It would not be wise for Theresa May and the UK government to entertain Netanyahu while he continues to violate international laws and is complicit in crimes against Palestinians” said Ismail Patel.
