FOA is back with Palestine Awareness Week from 24 to 30 November 2025.

More than two years of the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the continued occupation, we must create spaces to raise awareness of what's happening in Palestine.

Palestine Awareness Week is a much-needed opportunity to organise for Palestine as well as unite to build a broader and stronger movement for a free Palestine. During this week we encourage every one of you, whether you’re an individual, part of an organisation, university societies, places of worship and any other network to organise events, start conversations and come together for Palestine. We must all make a conscious effort to take part in activities and actions that help Palestine. We’re inviting you to join us for Palestine Awareness Week as an act of solidarity, to celebrate Palestine's rich history and culture, and to be inspired to demand justice for the Palestinian people.

Let's get ready to educate, empower and organise for Palestine!

Culture

• Exhibition of Palestinian traditional wear predating 1948

• Tatreez embroidery workshop

• Palestinian pottery painting workshop

• Sports day including sports traditionally played in Palestine

Food

• Supper club

• Cooking Palestinian food workshop

• Knafeh and a film screening

• Picnic for Palestine

• Inivte a Palestinian chef to host an event

• University MasterChef style event

Faith

• An event on Masjid Al-Aqsa (a talk, mosque event, gallery on Al-Aqsa, kids workshop)

• Khutba

• Interfaith event supporting Palestine

• Childrens Aqsa arts & crafts

• Prophets in Palestine children's storytelling (we can provide the story)

Arts

• Gallery showcasing artwork on Palestine or by Palestinian artists

• Live drawing of something related to Palestine

• Quiz

• Parliament event or plan a meeting with your MP during the week

• Dedicate a podcast on Palestine during the week

• A talk on the history of Palestine

• Sponsored bike ride or a walk for Palestine (with funds going to FOA to continue campaigning for Palestine & Al-Aqsa)
