Location: London (office with travel across UK)

Contract: Full-time

Salary: 28k-34k depending on experience

About the Role

Friends of Al-Aqsa is seeking an experienced and motivated Campaigns Manager to lead and deliver impactful campaigns that mobilise communities, influence public opinion, and strengthen advocacy for justice and human rights.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering campaigns across digital platforms, grassroots outreach, and on-street engagement. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong organisational skills, creativity, and the ability to connect with diverse communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver effective national and local campaigns aligned with organisational objectives

• Lead digital campaigning initiatives across social media, email, and online engagement platforms

• Organise and coordinate on-street campaigning activities, events, and public actions

• Build and maintain relationships with community groups, volunteers, activists, and partner organisations

• Conduct outreach within communities, including mosques, universities, community centres, and public forums

• Create campaign materials including briefings, toolkits, social media content, and promotional resources

• Support volunteer mobilisation and campaign participation

• Monitor campaign performance and produce reports on impact and engagement

• Work closely with communications and leadership teams to ensure consistent messaging and strategy

Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience managing campaigns within a charity, advocacy, or community organisation

• Strong understanding of digital campaigning and social media engagement

• Experience organising grassroots or community outreach initiatives

• Excellent communication and public speaking skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure

• Strong organisational and leadership abilities

• Passion for social justice, advocacy, and community engagement

Desirable

• Experience working with volunteers and grassroots networks

• Knowledge of issues relating to Palestine advocacy and human rights

• Experience engaging with media and public relations
