Writing for Friends of Al-Aqsa

We invite unsolicited articles that are between 400 and 1,000 words on topics pertaining directly or indirectly to Palestine and Palestinians.

Article published on our platforms will receive a payment of £50 (UK Sterling).

How to make an unsolicited submission

Adhere to the word count.

Do not duplicate articles already on our platform.

We will not accept articles previously published.

We will withdraw article if it is published subsequent to being submitted to Friends of Al-Aqsa.

If you have not written for us before, please supply the below in your first article.

1] A brief biography (max 25 words)
2] A .jpg image of yourself.

Friends of Al-Aqsa will not respond individually to unsolicited submissions.

We will contact you within one week if we intend to publish your article.

Conditions of Submission

  1. Friends of Al-Aqsa will not review their decision in selecting article to be published and their decision will be final.
  2. Friends of Al-Aqsa reserves the right to select articles it wishes to publish.
  3. Friends of Al-Aqsa reserves the right to make editorial and stylistic changes to all articles it chooses to publish.
  4. Friends of Al-Aqsa does not accept any liability in respect of any material submitted and published by us, and we are not responsible for its content and accuracy.
  5. The views expressed are the personal opinions of the author named.
  6. Friends of Al-Aqsa will edit article as required.
  7. The author grants Friends of Al-Aqsaa perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide licence to the article published.
  8. The author is undertaking that the article submitted is their own original work and it has not been plagiarised or copied from a third party.
  9. The author warrant that the material submitted is accurate, not offensive or illegal.
  10. The author acknowledge that any breach of these conditions may cause us damage or loss. You agree to indemnify us in full and permanently against any third-party liabilities, claims, costs, loss or damage we incur as a result of your breach of conditions above.
  11. Friends of Al-Aqsareserve the right to remove any author we believe breaches our conditions and believe is acting contrary to good faith.

Data protection

Friends of Al-Aqsa will not provide email addresses or other contact details of any of the authors we publish to a third party.

Our policy when approached for author contact details is to forward the request to the author.
